Lead Stream: product design
Helping our clients attract & convert new customers, at the right time.
Lead Stream was at a critical point when we were tasked to help improve it. At the time, Lead Stream was suffering from a lack of branding as well as not being available on mobile and lacked key features that helped our clients convert leads in real time. Web.com needed Lead Stream at its core of product offerings to stay competitive.
So, we quickly went to work, we started by working with our dev teams to adopt parts of our new design system, designcraft. We worked in parallel, adding a layer of branding to the UI as well worked ourselves in to each sprint, designing and redesigning for mobile, key features in the tracking, calling and rating experience. Once the key pieces of the journey had been validated, we took those insights and developed the onboarding and app release assets.

To get started, a user completes their login and allows the app to send push notifications to their device.
Lead Lists
Users can track their opportunities by seeing missed calls and saving leads for follow up.
User’s can scan information about each call and take necessary actions such as rate, call back or save list.
Record job value
We identified through testing that most of our clients converted a lead to a customer after payment. So we added in a field to help our algo team that allowed our clients to put in the necessary job value.
A huge part of the success of Lead Stream was being able to communicate back to the algo team what was a good lead and what was a bad lead. By being able to rate the call it helped us tweak the campaigns for better leads for our customers.
Request a google review
After a job was completed, we could leverage the contact information already stored and reach out for a google review. This helped our clients rank higher in google search with each happy customer that responded.
In order to keep design consistency, we developed a responsive web app and redesigned the desktop experience to fall in line.
In parallel we developed the brand elements to work into the UI components of Designcraft (our design system. This also included the development of the app icon.
